The Grand River Hospital District Volunteer Association presents the 5th Annual Grand Wine Affair,
Thursday September 20th from 5-8pm in the Grand River Hospital Conference Area located at 501
Airport Rd. Enjoy Wine tasting, hors D’oeurves, live music and a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit
the Grand River Meals on Wheels program. Tickets are $25 each or $45 per couple and are available at

Last week I attended the Wine Affair and it was great! I was surprised that it was not more widely publicised as it was very well done and benifited Meals on Wheels which most of the public would be glad to support. My only suggestion would be to label the cheeses as they were very good and not all identifiable to many of us who were very impressed with the selection. I will be back next year-it really was fun!
Gail, we are so happy that you enjoyed yourself at the 5th Annual Grand Wine Affiar. I have shared your comments about labeling the cheese to our catering staff, excellent idea. As you can imagine we are always looking for ways to reach more people when promoting events like the Grand Wine Affair. We did use newspaper, radio, social media, website, our local chamber and our volunteers put up flyers from Parachute to Newcastle. How do you find is the best way to reach a person such as yourself?
